Fortunately, awareness is growing, and organizations are taking action. For example, Food Bank Vietnam works to rescue surplus food from supermarkets, farms, and restaurants. Their mission is to redistribute this edible food to orphanages, elderly homes, and people in need, turning potential waste into valuable meals.

The good news is that we can all be part of the solution. As young people, you can make a difference starting today. Simple actions include being more mindful of what you buy, taking smaller portions of food to avoid leftovers, and creatively using uneaten food for other meals. By making small changes in our daily habits, we can collectively reduce the amount of food that ends up in the landfill and help protect our environment.
